Alyssa began her career in the insurance industry December of 1998 as an Insurance Counselor with GEICO in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In October of 2006, Alyssa moved to Frederick, Maryland with her family and continued her relationship with GEICO in the capacity of captive agent independent contractor, Alyssa was the owner and operator of the GEICO Local Office in Frederick for 15 years. Wanting more personal growth, she decided to become an independent agent. By doing this, Alyssa and her staff of licensed agents have the ability to become appointed with many insurance carriers. Her agency now provides a wide range of insurance coverage options for residents and businesses in Maryland and surrounding states. Alyssa launched Shoppers Insurance Agency in April of 2022.
